Prof Thesla Palanee-Phillips Attends MATRIX Collaborative Two-Day Retreat in the US

Professor Thesla Palanee-Phillips, Wits RHI Director of Clinical Trials and Deputy Director of the USAID-MATRIX Award, recently participated in a two-day retreat held in Pittsburgh, USA. The Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation organised the retreat to advance innovative HIV prevention options for women through the MATRIX initiative. Attended by MATRIX product developers and hub leaders, the event proved highly successful, as teams from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, and the US collaborated, combining their expertise and insights.
