Dr Catherine Martin (MBChB, DipHIVMan, DTM&H, MSc) is a Senior Technical Specialist at Wits RHI. A medical doctor and epidemiologist, Dr Martin specialises in adolescent and sexual and reproductive health, biomedical HIV prevention, and health systems strengthening. She has extensive experience in implementing and managing large-scale health programs within South Africa’s public health sector. Currently, Dr Martin leads a research team in implementation science, focusing on the introduction and integration of new biomedical HIV prevention products into health services, including HIV prevention and STI services integration.
