Lebo Madisha
Technical Head: Stakeholder Relations - Health Programmes
Dr Lebo Madisha holds a Doctorate in Nursing Sciences, an M.CUR with a specialty in Clinical Care, Treatment, and Management, a B.CUR, and an MBA. She has extensive clinical, management, and leadership experience in public health, accumulated through her service at the National Department of Health, Provincial, District, and the NGO sector.
With over 15 years of experience, Dr Madisha has served in various roles, including Associate Director of Care and Treatment at the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH, SA), Deputy Director at the National Department of Health (SA) for Paediatric and Adolescent Care and Treatment, HAST Programme Manager at the Department of Correctional Services (Western Cape), HAST M&E Coordinator in the Western Cape Department of Health, and as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in Gauteng Province.
Currently, Dr Madisha serves as the Technical Lead for Stakeholder Relations at Wits RHI, where she focuses on internal and external stakeholder engagements, including Civil Society Support. She continues to build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and was honored with the Discovery Clinical Excellence Award for Community Leadership and Advocacy at the SA AIDS Conference in 2023.
