Naomi Hill is a seasoned social worker with extensive experience in public health and social development. She serves as the Programme Head and Chief of Party for the Wits RHI Key Populations Programme, which focuses on advancing the HIV response in South Africa for key populations, including sex workers and transgender individuals. Naomi has held leadership positions at prominent organizations such as the National Institute of Crime Prevention and Rehabilitation of Offenders (NICRO), the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF), and Mott MacDonald International Health.
Her expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including HIV prevention, social behavior change, interventions for vulnerable children and youth, mental health, and key populations programming. Naomi is also skilled in trauma and gender-based violence. She is dedicated to integrating practice, research, and policy to strengthen service delivery to communities. Naomi holds Honours degrees in Psychology and Criminology, and a Master’s degree in Social Work.
