USAID OHA Delegation Visits Wits RHI’s MATRIX and MOSAIC Programme Sites in Hillbrow

On November 7, Wits RHI welcomed a delegation from USAID’s Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA) for a site visit to the USAID-funded MOSAIC and MATRIX programme locations in Hillbrow. The visit was a valuable opportunity for Wits RHI to showcase the impact and progress of these critical programmes, funded through USAID, which aim to advance HIV prevention, treatment, and policy implementation in South Africa.

During the visit, Mary Latka and Shannon Allen from USAID OHA engaged directly with the Wits RHI teams working on the MOSAIC/CATALYST and MATRIX projects. This engagement allowed the delegation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope and effectiveness of USAID’s investments in South Africa’s HIV response. The visit was also instrumental in highlighting collaborative possibilities, strengthening partnerships, and aligning programme efforts with USAID’s HIV prevention and health system goals.
