Wits RHI Participates in the 16th International Workshop on Pediatrics & HIV

As part of our pre-conference activities for AIDS 2024, Wits RHI is excited to announce our participation in the 16th International Workshop on Pediatrics & HIV. This hybrid event took place in Munich, Germany, on 19-20 July 2024, serving as a vital platform for leading researchers and practitioners to exchange the latest advancements in pediatric HIV research and treatment.

Our involvement in this workshop highlights our steadfast commitment to advancing HIV research. Wits RHI was represented by Professor Lee Fairlie, Director of Maternal and Child Health, Shobna Sawry, Senior Programme Manager, and Dorothy Nyemba Machemedze, Senior Data Analyst. They delivered key oral and poster presentations showcasing our significant progress in understanding and addressing HIV in the contexts of maternal and child health.

We had a highly productive and insightful workshop, which fostered continued collaboration with our peers in the global health community.  Watch Prof Lee Fairlie presentation at International Workshop on Pediatrics & HIV 2024 here
