The 2026 Biennial Research Day, themed “From Silos to Synergy: Transdisciplinary Science for Health Impact,” will bring together students, researchers, and academics across disciplines to showcase and exchange cutting-edge health sciences research.
This year’s Research Day will focus on advancing collaborative, solution-driven science to address complex health challenges facing South Africa and the African continent. Key thematic areas include Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence in Health Systems, Clinical Innovation and Translational Science, Global Health Systems Strengthening, Precision Medicine, and Computational Health.
