Wits RHI will contribute three oral presentations at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital Research Symposium 2026, showcasing research across tuberculosis screening, HIV prevention and maternal health.

The Wits RHI presentations will include:

• Mr Griffiths Kubeka – TB tongue-swab screening across diverse community settings
• Dr Elizea Horne – Daily oral PrEP and maternal bone mineral density during pregnancy and postpartum
• Dr Faeezah Patel – TLD uptake and maternal HIV viral suppression at delivery
