Through the WHO Collaborative Open Research Consortia, Wits RHI is co-leading global efforts to accelerate research into mpox diagnostics, vaccines and treatments. The collaboration demonstrates how African research institutions can contribute to global preparedness while addressing priorities relevant to the continent.
